MATCH PREVIEW: Remo Stars FC vs Wikki Tourists FC

Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) return to the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu for the first time after Match Day Three (3) 1-1 draw against Bendel Insurance FC to host Wikki  Tourists FC in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Match Day Two (2).

This game was originally scheduled for the twenty-fourth of February, 2019 (24/02/2019) but later postponed due to the late arrival of promoted clubs from the second tier of Nigeria Football.

Sunday Williams' goal wasn't enough to give the Sky Blue Stars a point as they narrowly lost 2-1 to Lobi Stars FC in the final minutes of the game at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi after Yaya Kone scored the winning goal.

The visitors on the other hand also lost by a goal margin after Rangers' International FC defeated the Giant Elephant 2-1 in NPFL Match Day Ten (10) played in Enugu.

Both sides last met in the NPFL in 2017, they both won in front of their fans. The Sky Blue Stars defeated Wikki Tourists FC 2-1 at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu and the visitors in turn defeated Remo Stars FC 2-0 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.

The visitors are eighth (8) on the log table and they have a point above the host. A win for the Sky Blue Stars ensures that they move out of the relegation waters before the they face Rangers International in Match Day Eleven (11) in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
